Privacy Policy

For the purpose of collecting, managing, and using personal information in connection with the execution of our operations, MIRAIRE Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) will handle such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as this Policy)[A1] provided, however, that this Policy conforms to the laws of Japan, and, if there is any conflict regarding the content between Japanese and English versions, the former shall prevail.

Article 1 Legal Compliance

The Company shall handle properly personal information collected, managed, and used for operational activities in good faith in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and this Policy.

Article 2 Personal Information Handled by the Company

  1. The Company will use personal information acquired within the scope of its operations and in compliance with the manner defined by the Company.

      1. Information services;
      2. Services incidental or related to the Internet services; and
      3. Other matters otherwise set forth in the articles of incorporation
  2. Manner for the use of personal information
    1. Providing information related to our operations, products and service information, contact and business contents, etc.;
    2. Conducting customer identification and certification;
    3. Enhancing services provided by the Company, such as marketing, sales, advertising business, etc., carried out independently or jointly with specified third parties, and making questionnaires;
    4. Performing our operations smoothly; and
    5. Performing other services incidental or related to i through iv above
  3. When handling personal information beyond the scope necessary for achieving the purpose of use specified in the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the consent of the relevant person will be obtained in advance.
  4. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding two paragraphs, personal information may be used beyond the scope necessary to achieve the specified purpose of use in the following cases:
    1. Where required by laws and regulations;
    2. Where it is necessary to protect human life, body or property, and it is difficult to obtain the person’s consent;
    3. Where it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the person’s consent; or
    4. Where it is necessary for any national organization, local public entity or person commissioned to cooperate in carrying out the task prescribed by laws and regulations, and there is a risk of affecting the execution of the task by obtaining the consent of the person
  5. When changing the purpose of using personal information, the Company will do so within the scope that the change has reasonably good relevance to the purpose of use. In addition, if the purpose of use is changed, the Company will announce the purpose of change in this Policy unless stipulated by the laws and regulations.

Article 4 Proper Acquisition and Minimal Principles

  1. The Company will obtain personal information legally and properly, and will not acquire the information by false or other fraudulent means.
  2. The Company will not acquire any special care-required personal information without obtaining the consent of the person in advance, except where stipulated by laws and regulations.
  3. The personal information acquired by our company will be limited to those minimal required for achieving our purposes of use.
  4. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding three paragraphs, when the Company enters into a contract with a person to obtain his/her personal information described in the contract and other documents (including electromagnetic records) or when acquiring personal information of the individual directly described in a written form from the individual, the purpose of use will be clarified to the individual in advance.

Article 5 Safety Management Measures

The Company will take necessary and appropriate security management measures regarding the protection of personal information handled by the Company.

Article 6 Selection and Supervision of Entrusted Vendor

The Company may entrust all or a part of our operations to an outside enterprise in accordance with our operational activities, and in such case, the Company will conduct necessary and appropriate supervision of the entrusted vendor.

Article 7 Provision of Personal Information to Third Party

  1. Personal information held by the Company may not be provided to any third parties as a general rule, except as otherwise approved by the relevant person. However, any personal information shall, where listed in each item of Article 3, Paragraph 3, be provided to any third party without the consent of the person.
  2. In addition to the preceding paragraph, the Company may provide personal information without the user’s consent:
    1. Where it is judged that the user will cause a disadvantage to a third party;
    2. Where the user himself explicitly requests disclosure or provision to a third party; or
    3. Where disclosure or provision is permitted by laws and regulations

Article 9 Display of Information Held by the Company

The Company holds the following information.

  1. The Company holds the following information.
    1. Personal information (name, age, gender, date of birth, address, telephone number, e-mail address and others)
    2. E-mail reception / transmission information (including signature information, etc.)
    3. Internet domain name, IP address, site search query information, and other information related to the browsing of this site (browser’s user agent string) are automatically collected. Cookies are just limited to contents intended to improve usability, and do not contain any personal information.

Article 10 Request for Disclosure of Personal Information Held by the Company

  1. If you requests the Company to notify, disclose, correct, add/delete, suspend or erase your personal information held by the Company and/or purposes of use thereof, please communicate the contact desk below in writing, indicating your personal identification information (address, name, phone number, e-mail address and others) in writing and attaching your identity verification document (a copy of resident card issued within three (3) months) and a stamped reply envelope. In addition, when an agent makes the request, in addition to the above-mentioned identification information, please attach the information of the agent (address, name, telephone number, e-mail address and others) and the power of attorney proving his/her legal representation right.
    1. The Company will not use any personal information acquired from the request form for any purpose other than responding to the request.

Article 11 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of Japan, and, if any lawsuit arises, the Yokohama Summary Court or the Yokohama District Court shall be the exclusive court with jurisdiction of the first instance, depending on the amount of complaint.
